SQDZ

DJ SQDZ started his career back in 2012 at the age of 19 as a turntablist in southern part of China, Guangzhou. Started from the bottom in a small bar, his obsession with hip-hop music made him work hard to change the nightlife scene at that time which was dominated by electronig music. After three years, in 2015 he teamed up with INSIDE CLUB and finally he got the opportunity to actually made a difference in the nightlife industry.

同年SQDZ也大放异彩，他成为了SHADOW SQUAD的创始人，你们可能不知道什么是SHADOW SQUAD，它是华南地区最有影响力的TURNTABLIST SQUAD之一。以嘻哈音乐的技巧和独特的音乐选择而闻名，他们在短短两年内就统治了广州的夜生活。和大多数团体一样，在保持领先地位三年后，团体最终解散。SQDZ作为最好的音乐导演之一的声誉传遍了中国，成为广州嘻哈偶像。

At the same year SQDZ also made a huge move as he became the founder of Shadow Squad. Some of you might not heard the name Shadow Squad yet, but it's one of the most influential turntablist squad in the southern part of China, known for their skills and unique music selections of hip-hop tunes. They dominated the nightlife scene in Guangzhou within two years. As like most of the music groups, after three years staying on top eventually the group got disbanded. SQDZ’s reputation as one of the best music director was spread across china. His success on turning stone into gold was heard, he then became an icon of hip-hop culture in Guangzhou.

2019年SQDZ与DJ EDI搭档了一个叫NOIR的双人组合。DJ EDI也是华南地区最具影响力的DJ之一，作为CHEE生产的核心成员之一，NOIR在行业中一炮而红。同样在2019年，他组建了自己的管理团队，称为皮影。希望与更多的俱乐部合作，共同将嘻哈文化推广到大众。他的愿景是传播文化，让人们可以了解更多，嘻哈是关于分享和关怀的。

In 2019 SQDZ made a duo group with DJ EDI called “Noir”. Dj EDI is also one of the most influential turntablist from southern part of china and a core member of CHEE Production, their duo Noir became an instant hit in the nightlife scene.
In the same year, he created his own management team called “Shadow puppets” in order to work with more clubs and to promoting hip-hop culture to a wider audience. His vision is to spread the culture so people could understand more about what is hip-hop, which is about sharing and caring.

正如他的俱乐部/活动表演所证明的那样，SQDZ对音乐有着广泛的热爱。狂野和实验性的俱乐部套装一直是他的签名。从HIP-HOP、 BAILE FUNK、HOUSE、DRUMN BASS到他惊人的转盘技巧。SQDZ曾与许多本地和国际知名艺术家/唱盘人合作，例如SKRATCH BASTID、JAEL、DJ EASE、HEADSPINN、 DJ WORDY等等。今年，SQDZ凭借他全新的愿景与HANGOVER CLUB合作，将(再次)彻底改变行业，将嘻哈带入更高端的场景。

As demonstrated during his on-stage performance, SQDZ has a very broad taste in music but wild and experimental club sets has been his signature style. From hip-hop, baile funk, house, to drum'n'bass, all combined with his amazing skills with turntables. SQDZ has worked with plenty of well known artists/turntablist both local and international such as Skratch Bastid, Jael, DJ Ease, Headspinn, DJ Wordy and many more. This year, SQDZ with his brand-new vision teaming with Hangover Club will again revolutionize the industry and taking hip-hop into more highend scene.

2022年SQDZ以嘉宾DJ的身份开始加入国际顶级嘻哈俱乐部1 OAK, 为1 OAK注入更多活力与兴奋。

In 2022, SQDZ is joining the renowned international club 1 OAK as a guest DJ, bringing passion and excitement to the dancefloor.
