原名Andre' Tanneberger的ATB出生于1973年的东德，从小便对电子舞曲产生了极高的兴趣，18岁时就成了当地Pub驻场DJ，而有幸认识到一些他音乐生涯中的贵人Thomas Kulula、a.k.a.、General Base等，开启atb的电音艺人之路，开始在自己的卧室创作电音。

直到1998年，一首气车广告曲《 9PM (Till I Come) 》冲上英美电音榜冠军及流行榜前10名，不仅让ATB的知名度扶摇直上成为炙手可热的人气电音巨星，更令ATB合作邀约不断，成为独当一面的超级电音制作人。

短短一年后随即推出第一首单曲，也在随后数年间发行数首自己的作品，皆是颇受好评。2009年和2010年他位列世界DJ排名11位，2011年位列15位。

André Tanneberger, under his stage name ofATB, (born 26 February 1973 in Freiberg, Saxony, East Germany) is a German DJ,musician, and producer of electronic dance music. According to the officialworld DJ rankings governed by DJ Magazine, ATB was ranked #11 in 2009 and 2010,and #15 in 2011. 

In 2011, he was ranked as world number 1 according to"The DJ List". He is best known for his 1999 single "9 PM (TillI Come)" which was a number one single in the United Kingdom.

On the 10 February 2017, Andre announcedthrough his Facebook account that his upcoming tenth studio album is set to betitled "Next" (stylized as "neXt") and its release date wouldbe April 21, 2017. 

The album will be available in three versions: standarddouble-disc CD, Limited Edition Box and 12" double-vinyl package, whichcould be pre-ordered through Amazon starting with the day of the announcement.Initially, it was rumoured that ATB's tenth album would be named "InMotion".
