MaRLo出生于荷兰，但成长在澳洲。孩提时代为动画制作配乐开启了他的音乐制作生涯，其后接触到电子音乐便一发不可收拾。早年他的音乐主要受Trance, Techno, House等风格的影响，如今他的音乐风格则主要以Trance为主。

凭借着努力和出众的制作天赋，他的作品自2009年开始便逐渐受到顶级电音厂牌的青睐。09年，其为Ferry Corsten的名作[Brainbox]所做的混音被Flashover Recordings签下并在业内获得了一致好评。

如今，随着作品受欢迎程度的提高，MaRLo也成为了各大音乐节以及知名俱乐部的常客。MaRLo如此形容自己音乐，他将自己的作品称为“MaRLo Sound",这是一种融合了Tech节拍与高能合成器音乐的特调品种。深受Trance,Techno,以及Tech-House的影响，使其能从一般的Trance制作人中脱颖而出。包括Privilege Ibiza, ASOT 600到荷兰知名电音节Trance Energy, Eletronic Family Festival, Ministry Of Sound等等，都能见到MaRLo的身影。

2015年，他更是参加了Stereosonic, Creamfileds, Sensation, Future Music Festival等顶级音乐节的演出。可以说，MaRLo的前途不可限量。 2016 top 100 DJ凶狠杀进前段班NO 49,澳洲最具指标性 trance DJ、trance大厂armada的主将，当地炙手可热的trance 巨星。他在墨尔本、悉尼等4城的巡演都轻易在短时间内将上万张门票销售一空，作品 hold it together 和 dreamers在各大视频播放量达到千万收听率。 privilege Ibiza、tomorrowland、elctronic family festival 世界最为顶尖的电子音乐节，都可以看到marlo的身影，只要有电音的地方，有 trance 的舞台，一定不能没有MaRLo。

trance在过去很久一段时间一直统治整个电音世界。包括电音大将Paul van dyk、atb、cosmic gate 等大师，荷兰的 tiesto、armin van buuren 两位天皇巨星，经历接近20年的辉煌，trance 依然是电音派对中不可或缺的重要元素。

MaRLo is a Dutch born DJ and producer who now calls Australia home. MaRLo has signed productions to a number of trance and house super-labels such as Spinnin' Records, Armada, Black Hole Recordings and Flashover Recordings. Leaving a mark on charts,dance floors and music enthusiasts the world over, Dutch born MaRLo backs up the #1 Best Trance DJ and #2 overall DJ in Australia with no justification required. From Beatport #1’s escaping the studio to headlining some of the most sought after dance events in the world, MaRLo is influencing trance, tech trance and progressive house music like no other.  With a solid European beginning, now Australian residing MaRLo took inspiration from pioneers Mauro Picotto, Aphex Twin, Ferry Corsten and The Prodigy where the studio came before the shows and a live act was how he ignited.
