这几年和EDM相关的电影是越来越多，从音乐节和DJ的纪录片电影到类似于《We Are Your Friends》的商业片，最近又有一部关于EDM的电影公布了预告。Netflix也开始对于EDM电影有了相当大的兴趣，于是他们就制作了一部与之相关的EDM电影—《XOXO》。他们还特意找了Pete Tong 监督电影的音乐制作，希望通过次电影让大家对于舞曲文化有新的认识和关注。（bilibili网站已有资源）
Netflix’s forthcoming original, XOXO, is beginning to nab some serious attention for its promise of being one of the few palatable EDM films in existence. Especially considering they’ve enlisted Pete Tong to supervise the film’s music, the producers seem to be paying close attention to making this endeavor a credible reflection of dance music.
电影的剧情大致为一群年轻人，在美国最大的EDM音乐节上展开了一场疯狂的大冒险，六个陌生人在此因偶然的机会，彼此的生活发生了碰撞，经历了一场精彩浪漫的的夜晚。故事的主角是Ethan，他是一个年轻的DJ在音乐节前夕，因为在网上上传的Tracks被疯狂转发而出了名。
The synopsis of the film is as follows, “XOXO is an ensemble, coming-of-age movie about a group of early 20-somethings on a crazy adventure to the biggest EDM festival in America, XOXO. The film follows six strangers whose lives collide in one frenetic, dream-chasing, hopelessly romantic night. At the center is Ethan, a young DJ who gets a last minute slot to perform after his tracks go viral online days before the festival.”
这部电影也由诸多明显来演绎， Sarah Hyland 、Graham Phillips 、Brett DelBuono、Chris D’Elia 、Haley Kiyoko 、Colin Woodell 、Ryan Hansen 、Ian Anthony Dale and Ione Skye 。
The film stars Sarah Hyland (Modern Family), Graham Phillips (The Good Wife), Brett DelBuono, Chris D’Elia (Undateable), Haley Kiyoko (Jem & The Holograms), Colin Woodell (Masters of Sex), Ryan Hansen (Party Down, 2 Broke Girls), Ian Anthony Dale (Hawaii Five-0) and Ione Skye (Say Anything).
然后这部电影的配乐也是非常强大的，在电影音乐专辑中我们看到了 Jack Ü,、Galantis 等EDM DJ 巨星的名字，相信这绝对将会是一部非常有质量的EDM电影。
Featuring music from Jack Ü, Galantis, Flume and more, this is definitely one of the more quality selections of music in a feature film that we’ve seen yet.
