“哎，电梯什么时候能重开啊？”

“某某某俱乐部都开了，怎么电梯还不开啊？”

很遗憾要跟大家说，我们还是不知道什么时候能重新营业。

但关于我们的情况，我们想跟大家多说两句。

我们仍然关闭的原因没有改变：我们以及附近类似的店铺（包括酒吧和KTV）都没收到允许开门的行政通知。就是这么简单。

对我们来说，这实在是很奇怪。除了常常跟相关部门人员确认情况，我们确实做不了什么。

这段时间确实不容易，但有一点是确凿无疑的：没有你们众筹的帮助，电梯现在已经彻底关门了。我们会永远感激你们的馈赠。

电梯只是整个场景、社群以及能量当中的一个节点，而它们在过去的几十年间早就在不断积累成长。我们很感恩上海目前至少有一些好的舞池已经开放了。在这些舞池中穿行，让我们保持着这样的希望：那就是我们很快就能在我们的地下室和你们一起跳舞了。

我们非常感谢每个人的想法、支持、关心、祝福和消息。谢谢每一个来到在其他空间举办的电梯派对的朋友。

多多保重，继续跳舞。我们会早日相见的，就在我们的地下室里。至少这是值得盼望的事情。

WE’RE STILL HERE

“Hey when is Elevator gonna re-open?”

“Why isn’t Elevator open but XYZ club is?”

We’re sorry to tell you this, but we still don’t know when we can re-open.

But we do want to tell you more about our situation.

The reason why we’re still closed remains the same: our local area government has not given us – or similar businesses in our neighborhood (bars, KTVs) – permission to reopen. It’s that simple.

This is all really strange for us too. Besides regularly checking with our local authorities, there is really not much we can do.

It’s been difficult, but but one thing is for sure – without your help with crowdfunding, Elevator would be closed for good by now. We are eternally grateful to you for your help.

Elevator is just one station in a scene, community, and energy that continues to grow over the decades. We are grateful that Shanghai at least has good places for dancing open now. And moving around these dancefloors gives us hope that we will get to party with you soon in our basement.

We really appreciate everyone's thoughts, support, concern, wishes, and messages. And thank you to everyone who came out to our events in other spaces lately.

Take care and keep dancing. We will meet again soon - in our basement. That is something to look forward to.
