Born and raised in Belgrade, Maria Karan has been a part of different underground culture settings throughout the years. With roots engrained in the punk and alternative scene, the electronic sound came suddenly and took over in an instant.

Her approach to DJing has always been set in a diverse demeanor - deeply rooted in the expansive and emotional background of her music knowledge. Having played numerous festivals and prestigious clubs around the country, she has been perfecting her craft for a number of years.

She is a regular guest of local and regional clubs and festivals, radio shows and podcasts, most recently the Floating Bastard's day show on Georgian Mutant Radio. In these outlets she showcases her contrasting styles of playing, ranging from the low key - downtempo kind of electronica to peak club dance music.

Darcy拥有多年的电子舞曲音乐聆听经验，曾作为电子派对现场报道记者、活动策划参与到北京电子乐场景中。2013年进入DJ行业， 2014年加入北京电子乐与艺术影像结合的派对厂牌Shadowplay;与好友共同策划在DADA BAR每月两次的House Party。

多元化的音乐品味一直引领她在不同舞曲领域探索挖掘，希望可以在每一次的现场中传递出新的舞池情绪。

曾参与北京摩登天空音乐节(2014)、武汉江湖音乐节(2015)、北京DART创艺电音节(2015)、张北音乐节(2017)、杭州草莓音乐节(2020)等户外大型演出。

As an Electronic music and party report journalist for years, events host in Beijing Darcy turned into DJ in 2013 to create a versatile mood to the scene. She tends to bring melodic Disco and gentle House to the crowd.

Darcy joins the artsy party label Shadowplay in 2014,to drop her subtle glamour with other innovative DJs in the arena.

Darcy is a resident DJ at famous D LOUNGE Bar in Beijing since 2016. At the same time, she is also a representative power of Beijing's underground scene, playing gigs at well-known underground clubs, such as MIGAS、LANTERN and DADA.
