10.04 I MET - Burning Man Inspired @ Bar Rouge

Burning Man is a full-on event but a festival, it’s where everyone is encouraged to participate. 

火人节是一个全面的活动而不只是个音乐节，它鼓励每人都贡献参与。

Burning Man is an annual, nine-day gathering more than 70,000 people in the Nevada desert. The community build the Black Rock City that includes artistic performances, installations, music, wild costumes and a lot of partying.

火人节在每年有九天7万多人在内华达沙漠聚集。这个社群在此建造了黑石城，包括各式的大型艺术展演、音乐、狂野的衣着和不停的派对。

More specifically, it's a "temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance,"

更正确的解释，黑石城是个 “ 以社群、艺术、自我表态和自我韧性构成的暂时的大都会”

At the Burn, everyone is expected to participate. Participation is one of the 10 Principles of Burning Man, a set of guidelines created by co-founder Larry Harvey that reflect the heart of the event.

Burning Man Project’s mission is to produce the annual event known as Burning Man and to guide, nurture and protect the more permanent community created by its culture. The intention is to generate society that connects each individual to his or her creative powers, to participation in community, to the larger realm of civic life, and to the even greater world of nature that exists beyond society.

火人专案的任务是以创立每年的火人节来去引导、培养和保护以此文化而组成更长久的社群体。它的理想是生成一个互相连结社会：每个独立个体、男或女的创新能力，以此贡献于社群，传达到更广大的城市生活领域，甚至贡献给存在超于社会的伟大自然世界。

The entirety of Burning Man operates because everyone comes together with their gifts, be it food, entertainment, art or building a camp. That's what makes it work. A hug, a smile, a beautiful or funny outfit to bring a sight - it's a gift, so it's yours to give. 

整个火人节的运行全因每人相聚相礼，不论是小礼物，可以是食物、娱乐表演、艺术或建造一个帐营，都是因此可行。一个拥抱、一个微笑、和漂亮或有趣的衣着来带给人赏心悦目的视角 - 这礼物，是由你来给予。

MET’s mission is to elaborate this culture of giving by encouraging our community to bring the spirit of this project in the city of Shanghai. 

我们的任务是要以鼓吹我们的社群带着这火人项目的精神来在上海这城市推广这文化。

MET-BM will be a costume themed event to create a free space for you to express without bounderies.Burning Man is a project to appreciate a better world, therefore we aim to curate a magical day & night for all to dance for the mother earth, water, sun, oceans, moon and the stars... sharing love & kindness by making collective memories without prejudices.

MET 举办的火人节主题活动会以着装打伴为主题，来提供一个自由的空间让你来没限制的表现。火人节是一个以为珍视更好的世界的项目，因此我们致力要创造魔力的白天和夜晚，让我们在此为大地母亲、水、太阳、海洋、月亮和星辰共舞。共享爱和善以合创于没有偏见而共同的回忆。

Here we ask you to bring the ray of sunshine, the spiritual and creative self to inspire and be inspired. 

在此我们传唤你带着一束阳光，你灵性和创新的自我来互相启发。

Burners go all-out in "expressing their creative spirits" with their costumes. People often wear extravagant, creative outfits with plenty of color and embellishments such as feathers, glitter, and beads. Many wear fancy hats or headpieces. 

火人们全力以 “ 表现自我创意精神 “ 来穿着打扮。大多通常穿着极于夸大和有创新的衣着，伴着许多的色彩和各种点缀：羽毛、闪片和珠饰。许多戴着哗众的帽子和头饰。

You might see Burners wearing long golden capes, giant wings, unicorn horns, feathered mohawks, or stilts. Basically, the wilder the outfit, the better.

你可能会看到火人们穿飘逸的金色长袍、巨大的翅膀、独角兽的头角、和羽毛战斧或是高跷。简单来说，越奇装异服，越好。

 Dressed for the Dust: 

Imaging being in the desert for 13 hours and there are sand storms while you dance. Bring your statement survival accessories: goggles and mask...

 为沙穿着：

想像在沙漠中13 小时，跟着沙尘起舞。带上你有个性的生存饰品：大墨镜和面罩...

  Neon Lights Sundown: 

In addition to the lighting camps, Burners bring lights to illuminate themselves and their bikes. Because Burners won’t always be on a bike, they illuminate themselves with LED gloves, capes or strings. It’s so much fun to play with them in the deep dark desert. We look forward to a light psychedelic space at night. 

  荧光灯夜晚：

除了在营帐上布置灯，火人们带上灯饰来让他们的脚踏车和衣着上发光。因为脚踏车不是一直在身旁，他们发亮自我以LED的衣着、手套、披风或灯线。在沙漠黑暗的深处是非常有趣的事。在此活动我们期许一起创造一个迷幻发光的夜晚空间。

 Tutu Tuesday: 

Costume theme days exist at Burning Man, but this is not something strictly adheres to, but it’s fun if you do. The Tutu themes may sound 「feminine」, but Burning Man is not a gender-normative place, everyone goes along with the themes regardless of gender and the norm. On Tuesday, men, women, everyone wears colorful tutus.

 蓬蓬裙星期二：

打扮主题的日子在火人节存在虽不是强制性，但非常好玩的跟从。蓬蓬裙的主题可能听起来很女性，但火人节不是一个分男女性别的地方，大家依愿跟随主题穿着，不介意于性别或格式。在星期二，男人女人们，大家都穿上了多彩的蓬蓬裙。

and Dawn:

People dress accordingly to bring the vibes. 

Bring colors, sparkle, flowers, stuff toys, colorful fur, wear TUTUS! extravagant googles and all things festive that bring lights and joy. 

Light it up with colors when sun goes down. We count on you to transform the space into a different dimension.

从夕阳到日岀：

大家分早晚的氛围跟着穿着。带上各种色彩、闪钻、花朵、绒毛玩具、多彩的皮草、穿上蓬蓬纱裙！夸大的眼镜和各种能带起光彩和娱乐的节庆饰品。

到了夜晚跟着发光，带上多彩的发光打扮。我们期许和你一起把空间带到不凡的领域。
